ROXIE JOHNSON
Executive Director of Northern Hills Pregnancy Care Center

Roxie Johnson is the Executive Director of the Northern Hills Pregnancy Care Center and is in charge of all the day-to-day activities of the center.  Roxie is one of a few veteran pregnancy center directors in the nation and has been with the NHPCC since 1988 when she started as a volunteer counselor and helpline worker.  Over the years, Roxie has gained invaluable knowledge and wisdom through her work with clients and the community and through numerous conferences and workshops geared toward pregnancy resource development and management.  It was while attending one of these conferences that she ran across the Stop & Think program and adopted it for use with the NHPCC.

Along with her wealth of knowledge and experience, Roxie has maintained a tender and understanding heart for clients and volunteers alike, and can often be found compassionately helping both in the course of the day.  Nothing brings Roxie more joy than seeing lives and hearts changed for the better because of the work of the NHPCC.

Roxie is married to John and they have four grown children, two son-in-laws, and four grandchildren.

Her vision for the future of the Stop & Think program is to continue to find new and innovative ways to reach today's youth with truthful information that will empower them to live their lives in true freedom.

"Each young man and woman is an individual with great value, and they are worth the time and effort it takes to bring them this vital message of hope."
