I grew up in Sundance, Wyoming, where I graduated from high school in 2006.  I now live in Spearfish, working at Stop and Think and taking classes at BHSU.  I’m also in a band with Matt, the other presenter here in Spearfish

I have been working with Stop and Think since the summer of 2006 as a volunteer, joining as a presenter in February of 2007.  My involvement at Stop and Think is mostly just being in the right place at the right time, but has been very rewarding.  I love being in the classroom, getting to know the students and building relationships in every school I go to.

One thing that I believe separates Stop and Think from other abstinence education curriculums is out philosophy that we cannot make the decision for the student.  We go into the classroom with a presentation that makes them look past just the act of sex and consider how it can and will effect their goals and future relationships.  The students respect that more that if we just told them not to have sex.
